Call for Papers: Phi Alpha Theta Conference, Mississippi State, Mississippi
17-18 April 2009
Phi Alpha Theta invites proposals for its upcoming conference at Mississippi State University. We would like to welcome complete panels and individual papers, as well as roundtable sessions, on all aspects of history. Graduate and undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to submit proposals.
Proposals should include a 250-word abstract for each paper and a brief (one-page) curriculum vitae for each presenter. Those interested in chairing a session or commenting also are invited to submit a brief curriculum vitae to the Program Committee.
The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2009. (Early submissions will earn the undying gratitude of the Program Committee.) All proposals should be submitted via email to James Giesen at JGiesen@history.msstate.edu. The body of your email should include your name, affiliation, contact information (phone and email address), and proposal title. Please send the supporting materials (abstracts and CVs) in an MS World attachment.
