The third annual Michigan State University Africanist Graduate Student Conference will be held on October 9-10, 2009 at Michigan State University with the theme "Africa's Challenges and Possibilities."
The conference's keynote speaker is James A. Pritchett, the new director of the African Studies Center and Professor of Anthropology at Michigan State University. The keynote will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the MSU Union and will be followed by a reception.
